Foley Artist

Foley is the reproduction of everyday sound effects which are added in post production to enhance the quality of audio for films, television, video, video games and radio.  In an Audio for Film production class, we chose three movie clips, threw away the audio, then with proper planning, recording, and editing, we recreated the sound from scratch.

Project 1. Back to the Future

Project 3. Home Alone

Foley Final

The final for Audio for Film production class was a group project which consisted of a 20 min segment from North by Northwest by Alfred Hitchcock.  The scenes from the segment were split up into parts per student.  This 5 min clip was my responsibility for the sound editing.

North By Northwest is directed by Alfred Hitchcock.  Written by Ernest Lehman.  Starring Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint, and James Mason.  Released in 1959.  Courtesy of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
